Come and see D&A College's Mural
D&A College students created individual watercolour and ink illustrations representing their experience of the pandemic. The illustrations are contained within house shapes representing the 'stay at home' nature of lockdown and the uniqueness of each person's experience. The house shaped paintings combine abstract expressiveness and figurative elements, literally depicting objects which became personally symbolic of lockdown. The mural symbolises lockdown narrowing our lives down to our homes... but although we were separated everyone was affected and experienced their own narrative.
